Help bring a Recreation Center to the area...

The Centerville section of Kempsville, also known as West Kempsville, has a population of approximately 714,736, but does not have a recreation center. The Bayside district has two recreation centers: Bayside and Williams Farm.
Centerville is an area filled with active children, adults, and senior citizens. A recreation center with amenities would be most welcomed, beneficial and appreciated in the area.
Community involvement in the planning would determine what amenities the recreation center would have, such as the following:
- Indoor Pool
- Outdoor Pool
- Gymnasium
- Racquetball Courts
- Exercise Rooms
- Party/Meeting Rooms
- Skateboard Park
- Trails to Stumpy Lake
The location would be adjacent to the proposed WoodBridge Park-the area where the Lynnhaven Parkway extension meets with Beaufain Blvd.
